Water Year 2024-2025 has ended, and compared to 30-year NOAA norms, precipitation for 
MTD is +0.29, 108% of normal,
YTD is -2.63, 91% of normal,
WYTD is -4.88, 87% of normal.
Raised beds and planters need to be watered every other day. Soil is dry, and trees are dropping leaves before they turn color. 
Today 10/5/25 NWS has issued an elevated Fire Danger due to SW winds gusting to 30 mph, unseasonably warm temperatures, low relative humidity, and dry vegetation.
US Drought Monitor shows my station in Abnormally Dry area,  reflecting no precip since 9/23/25 with above average temperatures.
