No rain in nine days.  Creeks and ponds still quite low. Beans and corn coming  down.  Grass growth is slow.  No big change in fall colors this week, but persimmons are starting to drop.  We are still  enjoying porch-sitting in gorgeous weather.  Deer and turkeys not out in the daytime.  Hummingbirds down to one or two visits per day at the feeder.
