Description:
Since my last report on 9/6/25 there has been a total of 1.16" of precipitation. The water level in Hopeville Pond is below normal. Water supply quality and quantity are good for human consumption. There are still a number of animal prints and various birds to include, the usual yard birds, geese which are starting to fly in formation getting ready for their migration, a Turkey vultures, ducks and swans around use pond. I spotted a Bobcat chasing a couple of small animals. The outdoor temperature is starting to feel like fall. The grass and other vegetation are brown and distressed. The tourists have left the campgrounds and beaches in the area.
