Conditions are beginning to be a little dry but that is normal for the time of year. We only received a trace of rain this week and the two weeks total is 1.73”. Temperatures have been in the low to mid 80s each day for highs and upper 50s to lower 60s for lows. Soil moisture, water body levels, and plant/crop growth are all average for early October. I am having to water my garden every few days since the plants are wilting in the afternoon heat. Local pastures are generally green and growing. There is low fire danger now.
