As expected, we finished Water Year 24-25 at a significant deficit – a total catch of 38.74” against a PRISM average of 49.50” – just 78% of normal. October has been dry so far, but things around here are still living large on a combination of lower sun angles and the bounty of the last full week of September. Grasses are green and growing (although some veggie plants are pretty much done), pond level is normal, and we’re seeing normal autumnal turn of color – although it’s not particularly vibrant this year. Wildlife activity normal.
