Mildly dry; weeds turning brown and what poppies the gophers haven't eaten are browning. Normally we have a week heating to triple digits followed by 3 days of marine layer (fog over the East Bay hills and high overcast) and then the cycle repeats. This year the marine layer has lingered a week with mildew forming on my hydrangea and noticeably reduced solar production but not enough moisture to reduce landscape watering which is restricted due to the drought.
