 At 7.31" this is the second wettest August I have recorded. Topped only by August 2009 (12.9") which had a single day where I recorded 5.76". Almost double my August monthly average of 3.96". In just July (7.25") and August (7.31") I have recorded 41% of the precipitation collected year to date. Size of the events and timing were such that all this rain these last 2 months has soaked in and not run off.
