 Noaa radio warned of severe thunderstorms heading this way, but those missed here. One they didn't warn about hit here about midnight - strong winds, heavy downpour and even possibly, some light penny-size hail. It was the "tink, tink, tink" noise that woke me yup as my mind registered that wasn't the sound of raindrops. Hard to tell in the dark by the porch light and I wasn't going out to see better. It is still breezy and the temp has dropped 3 degrees since I took the early check [49.9 at 6:24a vs. 46.6 at 7:57a] The breeze feels like it has "ice" in it
