06-29-15: High 79, Low 64, wind NW & W calm-13 mph w/gust 20 mph. Rain .26 in my gauge, if I don't get another drop I'll have 11.09 for June. Yesterday afternoon around 4:30pm I was watching the radar and could tell just by looking that there was tornado activity. Sure enough, tornado warnings for Rochelle, Paw Paw, Compton and the Lee County area. Today at 4:20am: temp 63, wind calm, dew point 60, humidity 94%, I can see Route 80 so no fog. At 3am IL River at Ottawa 463.35/flood stage 463 and LaSalle 28.16/flood stage 20. River could rise due to rain up north of us. Normal temps for today 84/64. Sunrise 5:25am, Sunset 8:33pm (maximum sunlight) |
