 A somewhat vocal evening thundershower drenched much of the Matanuska Valley yesterday evening after a warm late summer day. Although audible peals of thunder occurred approximately 5 times, I heard it from about 9 p.m. until around 10:20 p.m. My high reached 68.6° F and my overnight low reached 50.9° F. My high wind gust yesterday was 13.6 m.p.h. and 8.3 m.p.h. since midnight. Skies are partly cloudy this morning with high clouds predominant.
