 Last evening it started to rain as we began our 15-minute dog walk. I glanced at the rain gauge, saw ~0.33. When we returned it was 0.78 inches for 0.35 in less than 15 minutes. The road was overrun at a clogged culvert. Three major lightning bolts crashed. First approximately 5-6 seconds to thunder, second 1-2 seconds directly overhead, third farther to the east. Hail fell during the 5 minute deluge, washing down with the rivulets on the street.
