 Cloudy, 25° 24hr: 23/40° Started as snow at 12:30pm; by evening roads were in terrible shape, until the town plows came through just before 8pm. Almost a full inch of snow was "standing" on top of the edge of the gauge; needed to do the 'flat surface whack' maneuver. Also, reported less total snow on ground (2.0") that new snowfall, because all of the dark surfaced areas (patio, walks, etc.) accumulated less snow than the snowboard (2.4") to average out the depth. March CoCoRaHS totals: precip = 3.25" and snowfall = 12.5" Sure seemed like more!
