Notes
From hot to insanity in a matter of minutes. First rain and hail hit around 6:00pm. Initial hail was pea to dime size and progressed to qtr size quickly. Hail eased off a bit, still raining and then came back larger than qtr size, about an 1.5 inch, not round tho, flat like. That large hail damaged trees and cars. My car sustained deep dents to the roof, trunk, hood and also cracked my windshield. Sigh. It was all over before 6:30pm. 2nd thunderstorm moved in after 830pm, heavy rain and lots of thunder/lightning. Not looking forward to this evening. Low clouds this morning are covering the the shrine and most of Cheyenne Mtn. Hail reports were made directly to NWS Pueblo.
