|
Current conditions at 7AM: Moderately heavy fog, low visibility, wet. Ripples and low swells on the Potomac River from the SW, probably due to the incoming tide, a few pieces of trash on the landing, some natural debris moving slowly upstream along the Maryland shore, no fish, about ten inches of visibility into the water. Temperature: 40°F. USGS 01653600 Piscataway Creek gauge height at 7:30 EST: 3.41 feet with a big spike, just after midnight, reflecting the rain we received. Songbirds, crows and one red-shouldered hawk.
NOAA Potomac River, Alexandria, Wilson Bridge buoy: No recent reports. |
